Reflexology

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is relax

Our Issues Hide in our Tissues…

On a scale of 1 to 10, what is your level of Personal Tension? Keep in mind that we all tend to normalize our stress and tension to the point we don’t realize just how stressed we really are – sadly, this is an invitation to both physical and mental distress (and even illness) simply because unresolved stress inhibits our optimal functioning.

This is where Reflexology comes in…

Reflexology is a powerful (and ancient) Mind/Body therapy founded upon the observations that there are reflexes in the feet (and hands, ears etc.) that correspond to every part of the body. When pressure is applied in a specialized manner to specific points on the foot, stored tension is released in a dramatic fashion. With the release of tension, the natural functioning of both mind and body is restored and optimized. Reflexology, therefore, reduces physical and mental pain, increases energy and improves sleep, alleviates symptoms of chronic illness and fosters a general sense of calm and wellbeing. No small point is that by rebalancing the nervous system in favor of the parasympathetic nervous system, Reflexology reestablishes a natural state of calm buried under the stress and tension of our hustle and bustle lives.

My training and experience…

I am a member of the Reflexology Association of Canada from which I have received both my training and my registration. I have been optimizing mental health and physical wellness through reflexology and counseling for over 25 years. That I am a registered reflexologist (RCRT) means certain health insurance plans will cover my services, so do check your coverage.

Range of my Reflexology Services…

Besides office visits, I also offer mobile reflexology. On a fun note, I have had success with ‘Reflexology Parties’ wherein at small gathering, I set up a Reflexology station in a quiet room and give Reflexology sessions one after another while the rest of the group socializes – a fun and healthful way of reconnecting with friends and family πŸ™‚ In this more festive atmosphere, I finish each session with the opportunity to pull an Icelandic Runes to shed light on hopes and dreams and challenges.
